DEVON RAMSAY FB UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA

Devon Ramsay, Fullback, University of North Carolina went undrafted in this year's NFL Draft.  In my opinion, many teams shied away from this young man because they questioned his durability after coming off a couple of injuries.  Players come back from injuries all the time and Devon is no exception.  He has been fully recovered from his knee injury and has been training and staying ready, since late January.  Devon Ramsay will be a starting fullback in the NFL when given the opportunity.  Have a look at his film.  Its speaks for itself!
He participated in Tampa Bay's Rookie Camp in early May. There are several NFL Teams that still  have fullback needs.  Devon has come a long way.  He will fit the need of some team.  No doubt about it!!!  At 6'2 252 lbs.  He is big and powerful . . .

Rony Nelson makes his Debut with the Iowa Barnstormers

Des Moines, IA - Rony Nelson Makes his Debut for the Iowa Barnstormers of the Arena Football League.   If there was any doubt that that Arizona the AFL’s top team heading into playoffs it was erased on Saturday night as the Rattlers came to Des Moines and defeated the Iowa Barnstormers by a score of 84-45. The rattlers scored by ground and by air, on defense, and special teams as well, dominating in all aspects of the game. With the win Arizona improves to 15-3 on the season and clinches the #1 seed in the National Conference, while Iowa ends the season with a disappointing 6-12 record.

The Rattlers jumped out to a quick 21-0 first quarter lead and never looked back. As usual, Arizona was led by QB Nick Davila, who finished the night 16 of 22 for 222 yards and 6 touchdowns. Davila’s favorite target was WR Tysson Poots, who caught 9 passes for 85 yards and 4 scores. WR Rod Windsor also found the end zone 3 times for the Rattlers. Meanwhile Iowa QB J.J. Raterink struggled early throwing 3 interceptions, 2 of which were returned for scores by Arizona DB Virgil Gray. Raterink was replaced in the second quarter by Brian Reader who kept the game respectable by throwing for a career high 4 touchdowns, however the Barnstormers never cut the lead to any less than 17 points the rest of the way.

Next up for the Rattlers is a first round home playoff game against the San Jose Saber Cats next weekend. The Barnstormers will instead begin the rebuilding process as they prepare for the 2014 season.
